Nigerian singer and dancer Korra Obidi cries out after missing her Lagos-bound flight, saying she paid $500 for another ticket after receiving no boarding announcement

"This has to be the w0rst flight experience I have ever had in my life.

Everything was going great until I was sitting at the boarding gate and I didn't even know they were boarding Lagos. I was just sleeping.

I opened my eyes and my flight had left. They didn't even announce anything. They didn't say anything. Now I have to pay $500 to buy another transit flight to Lagos.

I have bought the flight now and want to go inside and wait for my flight. They're telling me I cannot go inside because it's too early to board since my flight is at midnight.

Take note, I had already been waiting for eight hours. The flight I missed, I waited eight hours for it, and then I slept off and missed it.

I was sitting right in front of the gate. They didn't even call, 'Passenger this...' or, 'We're calling passenger this...' Nothing like that. They just left me there..."
