Ingredients
- 1 large lemon, sliced
- 5 cm (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, sliced
- 10–15 fresh mint leaves
- 1.5 liters (6 cups) water
- 1–2 tablespoons honey (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the lemon, ginger, and mint thoroughly.
- Bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Add the ginger and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the mint leaves.
- Let steep for 10 minutes.
- Add the lemon slices and allow the mixture to cool.
- Strain if desired and refrigerate.
- Serve chilled or warm.
