Ingredients
- 2 medium beetroots, peeled and chopped

- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1-inch (2.5 cm) piece fresh ginger
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1½ cups (360 ml) water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and prepare all ingredients.
- Add the beetroot, carrot, apple, ginger, and water to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if you prefer a smoother drink.
- Stir in the lemon juice and honey, if using.
- Serve immediately over ice or chilled.
