Jim Jordan Just Unearthed Another Massive Biden DOJ Scandal And It’s A Doozy

by

Well, they did. And shortly afterward, probably at the direction of then-Attorney General Merrick Garland, the DOJ dropped the case. Why?

House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) gave us the answer during a hearing earlier today, and when you hear it, you’ll mutter to yourself, ‘Yeah, that figures.’ Biden’s DOJ had discovered that the SLPC was operating quite a lucrative scam. “They had opened an investigation. They were looking into this group. They knew the Southern Poverty Law Center was running a scam, but they dropped the case,” Jordan said.

He explained how the group had become deeply integrated with the department, training prosecutors and serving as a key resource for efforts that labeled pro-life Catholics and conservatives as domestic extremists.

“They had opened an investigation

“When you meet with them, consult with them, have them train your prosecutors, well, guess what? You’re not gonna prosecute them,” Jordan explained. “They’re too valuable politically. You gotta use them for your political advantage. And that’s exactly what the Biden administration did.”

<blockquote><em>“FBI Richmond’s memo CITED the Southern Poverty Law Center as the source, saying pro-life Catholics are extremist and dangerous!”</em> <em>“The SPLC became part of the weaponized effort of the Garland, Biden, Justice Department, against the American people. Now here’s what’s interesting. The Biden DOJ knew all about it!”</em> <em>“They had opened an investigation. They were looking into this group. They knew the Southern Poverty Law Center was running a scam, but they DROPPED the case.”</em> <em>“They dropped the case, because when you meet with them, consult with them, have them train your prosecutors, well guess what, you’re not going to prosecute them! Nope, you’re not going to prosecute them. They’re too valuable politically.”</em> <em>“Here’s the good news. President Trump got elected, Todd Blanche is the Attorney General, Kash Patel’s FBI Director, and guess what, they’re prosecuting these guys!”</em></blockquote>

“They had opened an investigation

Jordan highlighted a concerning example from the operations of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) that illustrates the alleged model of profiting from hate.

Last month, the Justice Department filed an 11-count federal indictment against the SPLC. The DOJ charged the group with wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering for secretly diverting over $3 million in donor money to actual extremists.

This individual, who was paid by the SPLC, attended the event at their direction, helped coordinate transportation for attendees, and even posted racist content under the group’s supervision.

Among these questionable payments was a staggering $270,000 that was allegedly given to a member of the online leadership chat group responsible for planning the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville

“The Southern Poverty Law Center almost tripled their income. They went from $51 million annual income to $133 million,” Jordan said. “Turned out for them, creating hate was more profitable than fighting it. That’s exactly what they did. They ran a scam, they became the standard, they didn’t get prosecuted, and they made a ton of money.”

In more ways than one.

Justice Thomas Makes It Clear He’s Not Happy With Supremes Who Rejected Florida Lawsuit

by

Justice Clarence Thomas doesn’t say much during oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court. He’s also got a calm demeanor and a hearty laugh.

He knows the Constitution like the back of his hand. So when a decision is made that seems injurious to the nation’s founding document, he responds like a parent trying to protect a child.

Thomas took other justices to task on Tuesday after a majority of the court refused to hear a lawsuit brought by Florida against Washington and California:

Justice Clarence Thomas accused California and Washington of undermining federal immigration and trucking safety standards after a deadly Florida highway crash, blasting the Supreme Court on Tuesday for refusing to hear a case Florida had “nowhere else to bring. ”

Florida alleged the two blue states improperly issued commercial driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants in violation of federal standards requiring English proficiency and lawful immigration status for certain commercial drivers, arguing the policies created a public safety threat on American roads

Thomas, joined by Justice Samuel Alito, said the Supreme Court had a constitutional obligation to hear the dispute because lawsuits between states can only be brought before the high court.

“If this Court does not exercise jurisdiction over a controversy between two States, then the complaining State has no judicial forum in which to seek relief,” Thomas wrote.

There’s only one court in the country that can hear lawsuits between states, and that’s the Supreme Court

More:

Thomas argued that Florida’s allegations against Washington and California were serious because failing to follow federal commercial licensing laws can create dangerous road conditions and, he said, has contributed to deadly crashes.

Thomas pointed to the fatal Florida highway crash involving truck driver Harjinder Singh, who he said “could not read the road signs,” and argued Florida deserved a chance to pursue its claims

People in the country illegally who can’t read road signs in English can’t be allowed to drive 80,000-pound tractor-trailers on American highways, he said.

“Federal law and regulations prohibit States from providing commercial driver’s licenses to applicants unless they pass a driver’s test, sufficiently understand the English language, and show appropriate immigration status,” Thomas noted.

Thomas wrote that while the court may exercise discretion when deciding whether to hear ordinary appeals, disputes between states stand on different constitutional footing

“We have no more right to decline the exercise of jurisdiction which is given, than to usurp that which is not given,” Thomas wrote.

He’s right, of course. Florida now has no other recourse to pursue legal claims for the deaths of three of its residents. So not only were those deaths in vain, the two blue states who issued the Indian trucker a license get off scot-free.

It’s an outrageous development; Thomas and Alito are right to be upset about it

More than that, we have seven justices who think it’s okay to ignore a basic function of the high court: Settling disputes between states.

Bruising Appears On Trump’s Hand Ahead Of Pittsburgh Visit

by

While President Donald Trump was chatting with the media ahead of his planned visit to Pittsburgh for an economic summit, C-SPAN cameras filmed what looks to be a bruise on the president’s right hand.

The White House has previously attributed bruising on the president’s hand to a variety of circumstances, including vigorous handshakes.

The scene was filmed when the president responded to a question about the continuing situation in Ukraine. At one point, Trump raised his right hand to reveal what looked to be a white, bruise-like mark. The bruise appeared minor, since the president avoided mentioning it and continued with his scheduled engagements as planned.

While the mark sparked speculation on social media, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and President Trump himself have previously attributed the bruises to vigorous handshakes, golf, and the president’s long workweek.

“President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands daily than any other President in history,” Leavitt told Fox News back in June after Trump’s hand appeared to be bruised following a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

“His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day,” she added.

In his “Person of the Year” interview with Time magazine last year, Trump said that bruising on his hand had become typical since he shakes hands with “thousands” of people every day. Bruising becomes more typical with age, which appears to support what Trump, 79, told the site.

According to the Mayo Clinic, elderly adults bruise more frequently because their skin thins and becomes less elastic, losing some of its protecting lipid layer.

This makes blood vessels more weak and susceptible to injury from mild hits. Additionally, capillaries deteriorate with age, and some drugs, such as blood thinners or corticosteroids, can exacerbate bruising.

This comes as a new national poll shows that most Democrats are dissatisfied with how their party’s lawmakers are performing in Congress.

According to a Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday, 53% of Democratic respondents disapproved of congressional Democrats’ job performance, while only 41% expressed approval.

Among all voters surveyed between June 5–8, just 21% approved of how Democrats in Congress are handling their roles, with 70% voicing disapproval.

The 21% approval rating matches the figure from Quinnipiac’s February national poll, tying “an all-time low since Quinnipiac University first asked this question of registered voters in March 2009.”

In contrast, the survey shows that 79% of Republican voters approve of how congressional Republicans are performing, while 13% disapprove, Fox News reported, citing the survey’s results.

Among all voters, 32% approved of the job performance of congressional Republicans, while just over 60% expressed disapproval.

Overall approval for Republicans in Congress has declined by eight points since Quinnipiac’s February poll, with disapproval rising by nine points over the same period.

The Democratic Party has been in a state of political disarray since the November elections, when Republicans regained control of the White House and the Senate while holding on to their narrow majority in the House. Adding to the setback, Republicans made inroads with key Democratic constituencies, including black, Hispanic, and younger voters.

Since President Donald Trump’s return to office earlier this year, an increasingly energized Democratic base has been pressuring party leaders to take a more forceful stance against the president’s sweeping and controversial agenda during the early months of his second term. Frustration is not only aimed at Republicans, but also at fellow Democrats who are seen as too passive in their opposition.

This growing dissatisfaction has contributed to a sharp decline in the Democratic Party’s favorability ratings, which have reached historic lows in multiple polls over the past several months.

Supreme Court Rejects Bid By 98-Year-Old Appeals Judge To Be Reinstated

by

Judge Pauline Newman, who will turn 99 on June 20, serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

In March, she filed a petition with the Supreme Court, arguing the Federal Circuit unconstitutionally forced her out of her position after an investigation determined her alleged cognitive deterioration rendered her unfit for the job.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (not to be confused with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit) is a specialized court with exclusive jurisdiction (or authority) to hear cases involving patents, trademarks, international trade, government contracts, and federal personnel and employment issues.

Newman, appointed to the court in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan, is a patent law expert and a frequent author of dissenting court opinions.

Chief Federal Circuit Judge Kimberly Moore is the lead respondent in the matter.

Moore signed an order in 2023 saying that a three-judge committee consisting of herself and two others found there was “a reasonable basis to conclude [Newman] might suffer a disability that interferes with her ability to perform the responsibilities of her office.”

Newman failed to undergo medical testing after an expert recommended it, the order said.

Newman also declined to accept service of orders, saying she “was not interested in receiving any documents regarding this matter,” and directed the mailroom at her residence to refuse the orders.

Later that year, a council of judges banned Newman from hearing new cases for one year or until she had court-ordered medical examinations.

“We are acutely aware that this is not a fitting capstone to Judge Newman’s exemplary and storied career,” the council said at the time, adding it had no choice because she was “no longer capable of performing the duties of her judicial office.”

In the petition, Newman’s attorneys said the judge remains intellectually and physically robust.

They cite Dr. Aaron G. Filler of the Institute for Nerve Medicine in San Diego, who produced a report in 2024 saying that the then-97-year-old Newman “appears generally healthy and active as if 20 or more years younger than her stated age.”

Newman “engages normally and fluidly in interaction and conversation without any apparent diminishment that might be associated with age in the 10th decade as to other individuals,” Filler said.

The physician said Newman was a “Super-Ager,” which means she “does not demonstrate effects of age on cognition or demeanor comparable to many others at this age.”

“Based on my experience as an attorney and my expertise as a physician, the content of her speech is entirely appropriate for a serving Court of Appeals Judge,” Filler said.

Newman sued the council in the federal district court in Washington.

That court dismissed the lawsuit in 2024, finding that the courts have “consistently affirmed the judiciary’s authority to police itself.”

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit affirmed the ruling in 2025.

Newman’s attorneys said in the petition that Moore has “improperly” used the federal Judicial Councils Reform and Judicial Conduct and Disability Act of 1980 “to perpetually sideline Judge Newman until she gives in to the bullying and retires or takes senior status.”

Senior status is a form of semi-retirement for judges who are 65 years or older and have served a minimum number of years of judicial service.

These judges have a lighter caseload but receive full pay. The current president may fill a court vacancy created when a judge takes senior status.

In May, the U.S. Solicitor General, D. John Sauer, filed a brief on Moore’s side, asking the Supreme Court to decline the case.

“Lower courts properly held that the law bars most district court review of judicial council decisions in misconduct or disability cases,” Sauer said.

“I was disappointed the justices did not take this opportunity to protect judicial independence,” said Andrew Morris, a lawyer with the New Civil Liberties Alliance, which represents Newman.

ICE Arrests Sister of Top Cuban Regime Official After Rubio Action

by

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced last week that federal authorities arrested Adys Lastres Morera, the sister of sanctioned Cuban official Ania Guillermina Lastres, in Florida.

Rubio said Lastres Morera will remain in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement pending deportation proceedings after he determined she was removable under U.S. immigration law.

According to Rubio and ICE officials, Lastres Morera entered the United States as a lawful permanent resident on Jan. 13, 2023, during the administration of Joe Biden.

Rubio, who is of Cuban descent, said he personally revoked her green card after concluding that her presence in the United States posed a threat to American foreign policy interests due to alleged ties to the Cuban regime and its military-controlled business conglomerate, GAESA, according to reports.

“For far too long, the family members of terrorist organizations, repressive anti-American regimes, and other bad actors who would threaten the national security of the United States have been given a free pass to enjoy the privileges of living in the United States,” he said in a statement.

“Past Administrations have permitted the families of Cuban military elites, Iranian terrorists, and other reprehensible organizations to enjoy lavish lifestyles in our country funded by stolen blood-money, while the people they repress at home suffer in increasingly dire circumstances,” Rubio continued.

“No longer. Under President Trump, we are removing from our country the family members of IRGC terrorists and Cuban regime elites,” he went on.

“Let me be very clear: if you threaten the national security of the United States, there will be nowhere on this earth — much less in our country — that you and your cronies can live lavishly,” Rubio said.

“We will find you, and we will hold you accountable.”

On X, the secretary of state said that Lastres Morera was managing real estate assets in the U.S. while also aiding Cuba’s communist regime:

Adys Lastres Morera is the sister of the Executive President of GAESA, the Cuban military-controlled financial conglomerate that steals millions in aid for the Cuban people at the behest of the regime.

Morera was managing real estate assets and living in Florida, while also aiding Havana’s communist regime, until I terminated her permanent resident status.

I am pleased to announce that today, she was arrested and is now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

There will be nowhere on this Earth – much less in our country – where foreign nationals who threaten our national security can live lavishly.

ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) indicated that Lastres Morera’s presence in the U.S. poses a threat and undermines American foreign policy interests, making him removable from the United States under section 237(a)(4)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

“Adys Lastres Morera’s presence in the United States has potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for our nation, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio has determined that she is removable under the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act,” HSI acting Executive Associate Director John Condon said.

“Allowing Lastres Morera to remain in the country would send a signal that Cuban regime-affiliated networks could continue to access the U.S.’s financial, educational and social institutions — but that is not the case,” Condon added.

“HSI will continue to investigate those with ties to our nation’s adversaries and take appropriate actions to neutralize threats against our homeland,” Colton continued.

Guillermina Lastres serves as the president of the Grupo de Administración Empresarial (GAESA), a conglomerate used by the communist Castro regime to control 70 percent of Cuba’s economy.

It is believed that GAESA holds as much as $20 billion in illicit funds concealed in overseas bank accounts.

The Cuban regime manages Cuba’s tourism industry, remittances, and the Cuban doctor program through GAESA and its various subsidiaries.

These three sectors are crucial sources of funding for the ruling communists and their oppressive regime, ICE noted in a press release.

BREAKING NEWS It has just been confirmed that Maduro has been…

by

The news spread quickly, the way it always does in a city like New York—fast, fragmented, and full of unanswered questions. Just fifteen minutes earlier, what looked like an ordinary day had taken a sharp, unexpected turn, leaving behind confusion, speculation, and a story that no one yet fully understood.

People passed him on sidewalks, nodded to him in quiet recognition, and sometimes stopped to hear his gentle words about faith, forgiveness, and second chances.

He wasn’t famous. He didn’t lead a megachurch or appear on television. But to those who knew him, he was something far more important: steady, kind, and present.

That’s why what happened next felt so jarring.

Witnesses said he didn’t look distressed

Earlier that day, Pastor Eli had been seen entering a modest apartment building in a busy part of the city. Witnesses said he didn’t look distressed. In fact, he seemed calm—focused, even.

Some assumed he was making a visit, perhaps offering guidance or prayer to someone in need. It was something he had done countless times before.

But then came the images.

The contrast between them—age, demeanor, circumstance—sparked immediate reactions

The contrast between them—age, demeanor, circumstance—sparked immediate reactions. Some people rushed to judgment, while others urged caution. No one knew the full story yet, but that didn’t stop the whispers.

Within minutes, speculation turned into headlines

Within minutes, speculation turned into headlines.

And then, more troubling details emerged

Authorities were called to the scene after a disturbance was reported in the same building. When officers arrived, they encountered a young woman being escorted out, her hands restrained behind her back. Another image surfaced—this one far more unsettling.

It showed the same woman, now in a different moment, walking beside law enforcement, her posture tense, her expression unreadable.

Suddenly, the narrative shifted

Suddenly, the narrative shifted

People began asking harder questions. Who was she? What was her connection to Pastor Eli?

What had actually happened inside that apartment?

Neighbors described hearing raised voices, though no one could clearly say what the argument had been about. One resident claimed it sounded like a disagreement that escalated quickly. Another insisted they heard crying.

But no one had a complete picture—only fragments.

Meanwhile, those who knew Pastor Eli struggled to reconcile the man they respected with the situation unfolding before them

Meanwhile, those who knew Pastor Eli struggled to reconcile the man they respected with the situation unfolding before them.

“He’s helped so many people,” one neighbor said. “I just can’t believe he’d be involved in anything… wrong. ”

In today’s world, they argued, appearances can be deceiving

In today’s world, they argued, appearances can be deceiving. Even the most trusted figures can carry hidden stories.

As investigators began piecing together the timeline, a more complicated picture started to form

As investigators began piecing together the timeline, a more complicated picture started to form.

The young woman, it turned out, had been facing serious personal challenges

Financial struggles, unstable housing, and a lack of support had placed her in a vulnerable position. According to preliminary reports, Pastor Eli had been offering assistance—helping her find resources, providing guidance, and trying to connect her with community services.

But somewhere along the way, something went wrong.

Whether it was a misunderstanding, a conflict of expectations, or something deeper, no one could yet say

Whether it was a misunderstanding, a conflict of expectations, or something deeper, no one could yet say

What was clear, however, was that the situation had escalated beyond what either of them likely anticipated.

Authorities emphasized that the investigation was ongoing. They urged the public not to jump to conclusions, reminding everyone that early information is often incomplete—and sometimes misleading.

Still, the images lingered.

Another captured a moment of closeness that raised eyebrows and questions

One showed a man who seemed almost angelic in his calm presence, standing with a book that symbolized peace and faith. Another captured a moment of closeness that raised eyebrows and questions. And the last revealed a stark, sobering reality—someone being led away in handcuffs, their life suddenly thrust into uncertainty.

Three snapshots. Three perspectives. One story that no one fully understood yet.

As the city continued its relentless pace—cars honking, people rushing, lights flickering across skyscrapers—the incident became another reminder of how quickly narratives can form, and how rarely they tell the whole truth

For now, Pastor Eli remained silent

For now, Pastor Eli remained silent. Those close to him said he was cooperating fully, trusting that the facts would eventually come to light. The young woman, too, had yet to speak publicly.

And so the questions remained

What really happened inside that apartment?

Was this a story of kindness gone wrong

Was this a story of kindness gone wrong

A misunderstanding amplified by circumstance? Or something more complicated—something that would challenge the assumptions people had already begun to make?

In the hours ahead, more details would likely emerge. Statements would be given. Timelines would be clarified.

And perhaps, eventually, the full story would be known.
